So yesterday started at 7am cleaning windows in Lincoln. The temperature was -6 so not good.
The pole system was out of the question, due to working in the hight street. I felt the large amount of water that would have been used, would just freeze and cause risk to shoppers later that day. Ladders were not possible. Firstly because they were frozen solid, but mainly because the rungs were deadly and slippery. So, I decided to use an extended pole, with applicator and squeegee. Amazingly, the windows didnt freeze when i applied the water, so all went well. Oh, apart from my hands turning blue, and feeling like lumps of ice within 15 mins.
